What Happens When A Pig And A Dog Walk Into A Shelter
After being dropped off at the Humane Society of North Texas, it became obvious to shelter employees that Tuna the pot-bellied pig and Jack the beagle mix were deeply attached and would need to be adopted out together.
“From the moment they arrived, it was clear they shared a strong bond,” said the shelter on their Facebook page. “In fact, Tuna (the pig) loves to give Jack kisses and baths!”
The shelter assumed finding someone in North Texas that was experienced in taking care of both pigs and dogs would be a tall order, but, much to everyone’s surprise, they found a new home within a couple of days!
