Don’t fry your pup’s feet!

THIS IS A GREAT REMINDER TO PROTECT YOUR PUPS’ FEET ON SCORCHING DAYS.

Most people would not knowingly do something that makes their dog uncomfortable, but it’s easy to forget that your dog is not wearing shoes.  If you try to walk on a surface barefoot and you are jumping about like you’re playing a game of hopscotch, it is likely too hot for your pup’s paw pads.

Though it would be best to take your walks in the morning before the pavement gets hot, in the evening after the ground has had a chance to cool, or walk on surfaces that are not as hot, that is not always possible.  If you absolutely need to walk on hot pavement, use some sort of protective covering on your pup’s paws.

Some dogs despise regular booties and will kick them off, but Pawz, which are kind of like a balloon, are thin, don’t annoy dogs as much, and are nearly impossible for them to kick off.

I haven’t personally tried Musher’s Secret, but the reviews are great…anyone have any feedback on these?
